Let me introduce myself: I’m Renée Janssen, I’m 18 years old and I live in Alkmaar, the
Netherlands. I collect sand since march 2005, and I hope you will be able to help me expand my

Collecting sand doesn’t seem like a hobby for a 18 year old girl, right? But sand is actually very
interesting, and I decided to collect samples from all over the world. Isn’t it an amazing idea that you’re
gathering material which has traveled for thousands of years and thousands of miles? It interests me how
